Player Korean Drama - Song Seung Heon, Krystal, Lee Shi Eon

A full length 2 minute long trailer has been released for the new OCN drama Player starring Song Seung Heon (Black) and Krystal (Smart Prison Living). Get ready for plenty of action, cons, a bit of humor, and a fun dynamic between the team.

Player is an action crime drama about a group of con artists working for redemption by helping recover goods from other criminals. Song Seung Heon plays a veteran con artist with Krystal as a skilled driver.

Player is scheduled to premiere September 29 on OCN.

Well, I was already looking forward to this a lot, but after seeing this trailer my excitement is pretty much going through the roof for it. Really, this looks very good indeed. Seems like a perfect blend of action, thrills, humor and some good hearted fun. Also I always have to wonder what the fascination is that Koreans seem to have with bat fights. Nearly every movie/series seems to have some kind of fight that involves groups fighting each other with bats lol. Anyways awesome looking trailer. Can’t wait to see this one! 😊😊

  It really does look like a fun one! I hope it’s available for you 🙂 I’ve also noticed most gang type fights involve bats or steel bars. I always kind of assumed it was because guns aren’t very accessible so the “lower ranking” bad guys were more likely to fight without them. Of course, the main baddies usually have them. I also see dramas where people take hostages with things like nail guns. In western shows bad guys always have guns and you rarely see these sorts of brawls. Just my thoughts though 🙂

    Well, that might not be so far of the mark those thoughts. I’ve always found it curious though as so many Korean film and series seem to have it 😊
    I hope it will be available too. Knowing my luck probably not, but well…will keep my fingers crossed 😊
