Kang Ji Hwan Confirmed for Korean Drama “Happy If You Died”; Baek Jin Hee Offered Lead Role

Happy If You Died Korean Drama - Kang Ji Hwan and Baek Jin Hee

Kang Ji Hwan (Children of a Lesser God) is confirmed to star in the new KBS drama Happy If You Died. Happy If You Died is about a terrible manager that no one likes who dies but gets stuck in a time loop where he keeps reliving the day he died. This gives him the chance to learn and grow as he tries to avoid death with the help of one of his workers.

So we’ve got Kang Ji Hwan as our awful boss. Then there’s Baek Jin Hee (Let’s Eat 3) who is entertaining an offer to play the worker who helps him. And finally, an offer is out to Gong Myung (Revolutionary Love) as another manager with good looks and a goofy personality. The drama comes from the PD of Sassy Go Go and Trot Lovers. Time loop dramas can be a lot of fun, so I would definitely be interested in checking this one out!

Happy If You Died is looking to air later this year on KBS.

Hmm, this pretty much sounds exactly like one of my favorite alltime films: Groundhog day. But…that said, I also love timeloops, so I’m thinking this one could certainly be a bit of lighthearted fun.
