Hundred Days' Husband Korean Drama - D.O.

Here’s a new trailer for the upcoming historical drama Hundred Days’ Husband (or 100 Days My Prince) starring EXO’s D.O. (I Remember You) and Nam Ji Hyun (Suspicious Partner). This one starts off serious and then takes a bit more humorous route as we see a very confused D.O. having trouble adjusting to the life of a commoner. I can’t wait to see more of that!

Hundred Days’ Husband is about a Joseon prince (D.O.) who loses his memory, goes missing, and ends up living as a commoner for 100 days. He meets a woman (Nam Ji Hyun) who runs a detective agency and they work to discover his identity.

Hundred Days’ Husband is scheduled to premiere September 10 on tvN.

You know, that’s one of the things that I always love about Korean dramas. The way they can change things in a heartbeat. One minute everything is full on comedy, and the next it’s back to being very serious 😊 Like the look of the trailer, the costumes and all look very cool. Optimistic about this one 😀

Agree. It’s something I particularly like about them too. While I do sometimes like a drama to be solidly one genre, most of my favorites have a nice balance of genres. Plus, a lot of kdramas do like to start out lighter and then get more serious along the way which is something I also like. I’m optimistic about this drama too 🙂

Absolutely, case in point: Lawless Lawyer. It started off pretty light and turned into something serious eventually. But yes, there are quite a number of examples from Korean dramas that had the same vibe 😊

That it did. And that’s one of the many reasons I loved it! I’m always on the lookout for dramas that pull that off 🙂

This could be fun… if they can keep themselves fom seasoning it with heaps of aannnngggst. 😅

Haha, it will be fun at first and then probably bring on the angst. I’ve only seen a handful of historicals that didn’t feel particularly angsty in the end 😉

Well, that’s the typical kdrama modus operandi after all. But… I’m ever optimistic that there’ll be dramas that’ll find a different way to annoy me. 😄
