Hand: The Guest Korean Drama

The first trailer has been released for the new OCN drama Hand: The Guest starring Kim Dong Wook (Radiant Office), Kim Jae Wook (Temperature of Love), and Jung Eun Chae (Return). It’s just a simple teaser to remind us the drama is coming, but it definitely sets a creepy tone for what’s to come.

Hand: The Guest is a supernatural crime drama about a psychic (Kim Dong Wook), a priest (Kim Jae Wook), and a detective (Jung Eun Chae) who work to solve crimes using shamanism and exorcism. The drama comes from the PD of Black and Voice and the writer of Entourage.

Hand: The Guest is scheduled to premiere in September on OCN.

You are not kidding here: that is one creepy trailer. It kind of reminds me of a Korean movie I saw last year called The Wailing. Don’t know if you have seen that one, but wow, that one had one hell of a scary atmosphere.😱😱

I haven’t seen it, but I am very familiar with it. And yes, for being just a one shot teaser, this trailer really does well at setting the creepy tone!

I tried to watch The Wailing but boy is it so creeeepy. I couldn’t get past the first 15 minutes, it was just so disturbing. When i saw that bible quote in the beginning, I knew that was it for me, I wouldn’t be able to watch it. So much for trying to be brave and watch it alone. I am very much looking forward to this drama. It seems so dark but if executed very well, I feel like it will be on a league of its own. Fingerscrossed!

After so many disappointing dramas (promising premise, great actors) with some really AMAZING ones, I feel like the upcoming dramas have such great premises. This is the first time in a while that I actually want to watch all of the current dramas and the ones about to premiere.

I can definitely understand that. I don’t scare easily, but this film was certainly really unsettling and incredibly creepy. And it only got worse when the film progressed further, so I really don’t blame you for not trying to watch it alone😊This does really look good, and I really hope it will be. You are right that there are some excellent dramas coming up. I hope they will all be as good as we hope they are 😊😊
