Hundred Million Stars From the Sky Korean Drama - Seo In Guk

Yay! Seo In Guk (Shopping King Louie) is confirmed to star in the upcoming tvN drama Hundred Million Stars from the Sky. He will play a worker at a microbrewery. An offer is still out to Jung So Min (Because This is My First Life) to play the female lead.

I’m so excited that we are going to get Seo In Guk back in a new drama! I can’t wait to see how this drama develops. I really hope Jung So Min signs on because I know she will make a great pairing with Seo In Guk.

Hundred Million Stars From the Sky is a remake of the Japanese drama of the same name which was about a detective who becomes obsessed with solving a college murder case. Things become personal when he realizes he may have a connection with the mysterious man who is the main suspect, and the detective’s younger sister also begins a relationship with the man. The drama comes from the PD of Oh My Ghostess.

Hundred Million Stars from the Sky is looking to air later in 2018 on tvN.

I love the cast too! And the plot does sound very intriguing 🙂

So, he did accept in the end. I hope they make his ‘Ryo’ as ambivalent and kinda seductive and twisty as the original was. Kimutaku was probably his most gorgeous in those days. Gukkie is cetainly pretty enough to fit the bill in that respect. ☺ I’ll be very surprised if they include the main reason the “romance” is doomed though. We’ll see… Have you watched the original jdrama?

Yep, I’m glad he accepted and that he will be playing the more mysterious character. I haven’t seen the original but am aware it was dark and a bit controversial (as to avoid being spoiled I don’t know for sure about the doomed romance, but there are a couple reasons that quickly come to mind). Most of the time kdramas tone down or eliminate stuff like that though. But this plot is promising as is the cast, and I’m always very open to how the kdrama decides to adapt it 🙂

It’ll be cool to see him again. Can’t believe Shopping King Louie was 2016. O_o

It’s crazy to think it’s already been almost two years since the awesome Shopping King Louie! I’ve missed Seo In Guk though, so looking forward to seeing him again 🙂
