Bad Papa Korean Drama - Jang Hyuk

Jang Hyuk (Greasy Melo) sure is a popular guy these days! He has been offered the starring role in the new MBC drama Bad Papa. Bad Papa is about a struggling family man who discovers a miracle drug that allows him to go back to mixed martial arts. It comes from one of the PD’s of Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People.

Well, I can definitely see why Jang Hyuk would be a top pick for this role. He could certainly be an endearing family man while showcasing his action skills in the ring. So is he up to add a third drama to his roster for 2018?

Bad Papa is looking to air in the fall on MBC.

And oh the way he laughs and smirks! Somehow fell for it right after watched Fated to Love You. Happy and glad that you recommended.
Hey Kay, did you watch Greasy Melo’s four episodes? The Gangster Ajusshi @JangHyuk scene uff it was damn ridiculous. I enjoyed all the 4 episodes. Hope you did the same

Oh I know, I so love his over the top laugh! Fated to Love You was the first drama I saw Jang Hyuk in. He seemed so strange at first and it took a little warming up to him, but it wasn’t long before I was just waiting to hear his laugh because it made me laugh right along with him. And years later, I still absolutely love it! So glad you enjoyed him and the drama 🙂

I haven’t started Greasy Melo yet since I usually like to let some eps build up before I dive in. Waiting week to week is just too painful, lol. I did read a recap for the first couple eps and have heard the positive response though. I can’t wait to see Jang Hyuk doing comedy again 🙂

Nailed it! Even it was awkward and annoying in the beginning. But as the drama progressed that laugh became his trademark and he mastered the way he did it. Just amazing.

True to a tee. This waiting for new episodes is utterly painful. But I just couldn’t wait to give this super-awkward-yet-exciting-drama a try.

His laugh is most definitely his trademark 🙂 I definitely have those dramas where I am very tempted to go ahead and dive in (Greasy Melo being one of them), but I almost always regret it if I do that, lol. But I hope you enjoy it, and I will look forward to catching up with you on it 🙂

Haha, yeah, I think I may just have this drama thing figured out 😉 Ah, Monday dramas are the worst! Nothing worse than wishing you’re weekend away to get to that awesome drama, lol
