Song Joong Ki and Kim Ji Won Offered Lead Roles in Korean Historical Drama “Asadal”

Asadal Korean Drama - Song Joong Ki and Kim Ji Won

It seems that Kim Ji Won (Fight for My Way) has now been offered a starring role in the upcoming historical drama Asadal. An offer previously went out to Song Joong Ki (Descendants of the Sun) who would also star if he accepts.

Asadal comes from the writers of  Six Flying Dragons and Tree With Deep Roots and from the PD of Nice Guy (Innocent Man). This would be a reunion for the pair who worked together in Descendants of the Sun in 2016.

Kim Ji Won is also still entertaining another offer alongside Lee Jong Suk over on Netflix called See You Again. Wow! She is one popular woman! I would like to see her with both of these leading men to be honest. Well, let’s see which one she picks!

Asadal is planning to be pre-produced and is looking to air in early 2019.
