Hyun Bin to Star in Korean Sci-Fi Thriller Drama “Memories of the Alhambra”; Park Shin Hye Offered Lead Role

Memories of the Alhambra Korean Drama - Hyun Bin and Park Shin Hye

Hyun Bin (Hyde, Jekyl, and Me) is now confirmed to star in the new sci-fi thriller Memories of the Alhambra. He will play a CEO. Park Shin Hye (Doctors) has also been offered a lead role opposite of him as the owner of a hostel in Spain.

I find it really interesting that both Hyun Bin and Park Shin Hye were previously offered roles in Fox Bride Star. That drama has since undergone a plot and name change (it’s now called People of Incheon Airport) and both actors have declined the roles. I would really love to see Park Shin Hye in a drama like this one though. I’ve been missing her, and this sounds way more exciting than her previous offer. Really hoping she accepts!

Memories of the Alhambra will deal with augmented reality computer games that alters what a person experiences around them. A CEO travels to Spain and stays at the hostel of a woman, and the two get caught up in a strange incident. It comes from writer Song Jae Jung whose W – Two Worlds, Queen In Hyun’s Man, and Nine: Nine Time Travels with the PD of Secret Forest (also known as Stranger) directing.

Memories of the Alhambra is looking to air later in 2018 on tvN.
