Rom Com King Korean Drama - Chun Jung Myung

Chun Jung Myung (Master: God of Noodles) has been confirmed for the new OCN drama Romantic Comedy King. He will play a top actor who ends up in love with Song Ji Hyo (My Wife’s Having an Affair This Week) and a robot. So now we just need our leading robot!

Romantic Comedy King is a remake of the Japanese manga and drama Absolute Boyfriend. It tells the story of a make-up artist struggling with her love life who ends up with the perfect robot boyfriend. It comes from the writer of Mirror of the Witch and the PD of Flower Boy Next Door.

Romantic Comedy King is looking to air sometime this year on OCN.

UPDATE 4/10/18: Song Ji Hyo has since declined this role.

Not interested in this one…have not seen much of either of the leads’ work and somehow I always end up dropping SJH dramas…lol.
Plus, too many robot dramas these days!

  Haha, already tired of the robot dramas? I’m really liking that trend so I actually like the plot for this one. But despite loving Song Ji Hyo, I also haven’t completed one of her dramas. Never seen Chun Jung Myung. But I would definitely check this one out at least 🙂
