Greasy Melo Korean Drama - Jang Hyuk, Junho, Jung Ryeo Won

Well, there’s a title for you, hehe. Jang Hyuk (Money Flower), Junho (Just Between Lovers), and Jung Ryeo Won (Witch’s Court) have been offered lead roles in the upcoming SBS drama Greasy Melo. Greasy Melo is set at a small restaurant where Junho would be a chef and Jang Hyuk a gangster just released from prison. It comes from the writer of Jealousy Incarnate and the PD of Suspicious Partner.

Are they trying to completely wow me with this cast? I guess they need to in order to make up for that super awkward title! Jang Hyuk just got done putting in one his best performances in the revenge melo Money Flower. Junho also put forth an impressive performance in Just Between Lovers. And Jung Ryeo Won is always bring something interesting to her roles. There sure is a lot of talent in this lineup!

Greasy Melo is looking to air in April or May on SBS.

    Wow!!! What a news…
Have these casts officially announced? ‘Cause if it is then it would be an eye-candy drama for me. Getting to see Jun-Ho once again after falling head over heels with his acting skills in Just Between Lovers. Moreover, I’ve heard so many good things about Money Flower from you…so gotta be excited for Jang Hyuk. Trust me, you’ve highlighted the most important thing, that is, it comes from the PD of The Suspicious Partner…which is a drama I thouroughly enjoyed, (even though it gave me chills at times with the killer). I can assure that the story will be a huge success since it comes from the writer of JEALOUSY INCARNATE, a drama which had the perfect dose of everything we look for…Oh! how I miss the comedy in that…and the chemistry between Gong Hyo Jin and Jo Jung Suk is so sizzling and natural…gives me #Goals really.💖❣️
Thank you once again for this update. I’m super excited to know further details. Hope it has a bit of both “Jealousy Incarnate” and “Suspicious Partner” factor.🤞😇😊

I know! This cast would be amazing! It’s not confirmed yet though. Everybody is still just considering the offers. But I sure would be happy if they all accepted! Could you imagine Jang Hyuk and Junho in the same drama?! I’m also happy with the PD since I loved Suspicious Partner too. The drama definitely has a lot of potential if everything falls in place, which I am really hoping it does 🙂
