Gyeryong Fairy Tale Korean Drama - Yoon Hyun Min and Kang So Ra

Yoon Hyun Min (Witch’s Court) and Kang So Ra (Revolutionary Love) has been offered the lead roles in the new tvN drama Gyeryong Fairy Tale. Gyeryong Fairy Tale is based on a webtoon about a 699 year old fairy who lost her winged clothing that allows her to travel to heaven. She looks for for the reincarnation of her dead husband in hopes of finding the clothes while she works as a barista in a mountain cafe. She also appears like an old woman to most people, but a few people can see how young she actually appears. The drama comes from the PD of Madame Antoine and Could We Marry?

Well, that’s a unique sounding premise. And tvN is really enjoying putting out the modern fantasy dramas these days. It could be really cute, or it could be really weird. This would be quite a nice pairing though. I guess time will tell!

Gyeryong Fairy Tale is looking to air later in 2018 on tvN.

I love Kang So Ra! She always brings such uniqueness and brightness to her characters that’s so enjoyable to watch. I’ll admit I’m not totally sold on the plot of this yet. It seems a little odd, but if done right, I can see how it’d be entertaining.

I too think the plot sounds a bit weird. But yes, if done right, it could definitely be a lot of fun 🙂
