Seo Ye Ji Up to Star in Korean Drama “Lawless Lawyer” With Lee Joon Gi

Lawless Lawyer Korean Drama - Lee Joon Gi and Seo Ye Ji

Oooh! Well, this is interesting! Seo Ye Ji (Save Me) has been offered a lead role in the upcoming tvN drama Lawless Lawyer. She would be playing a lawyer. An offer is also still out to Lee Joon Gi (Criminal Minds) to headline as a gangster turned lawyer.

I must say I am excited for this potential match up. I hadn’t pictured this pairing, but I really like it! I’m not sure how much of a love line there will be in a drama like this, but I know both of these actors will be wonderful as a couple or individually. Of course, I’m hoping for a couple though!

Lawless Lawyer is a legal action thriller about a gangster turned lawyer who doesn’t mind using his fists or doing whatever is necessary to bring justice as he works to avenge his mother. It comes from the writer of Remember: War of the Son and the PD of The Liar and His Lover and Time Between Dog and Wolf.

Lawless Lawyer is looking to air in the spring on tvN.

A lot of news about this series now. I have to admit I don’t know this actress, but I always trust your judgement on this. And if you say that you are excited for this match up, than I am excited 😊😊

Yep, sometimes the news comes in fast. She’s the one who starred in that cult drama Save Me that I loved last year. And yes, she is very good especially when give a solid character to work with. So it’s definitely a match up I would be looking forward too 🙂

Oh, good for her. This is a nice team up. I like her in save me. So, she should beable to handle Jun Ki.

But I’m iffy about the writer. Remember is full of plot holes, and had to stop watching after thirty minutes. So, I’m cautious now.

Yes, I do think this will be a great pair. Both are strong actors and should compliment each other nicely 🙂

That’s too bad you didn’t enjoy Remember. I absolutely loved it! So for me it’s a positive that it comes from the same writer. But it is the only thing I’ve seen from him, so you can never be sure what the other works will be like. But I’ve seen several works from the PD and he’s really good. So I’m very hopeful overall 🙂

Well, I first saw Seo Ye Ji as a princess in Hwarang. It was just a supporting role and only had a few air time but something about her intrigued me. I’m about to watch “Save me” this month since I read very good reviews about it. Now that she’s pairing up with one of my most Favorite actor, “THE LEE JOON GI”. I can’t contain my excitement. This will definitely my number 1 drama once this gets out. I’m going to abandon any kdrama I’m watching for this! 😉

I too really enjoyed her in Hwarang 🙂 But she was absolutely amazing in Saving Me! You will really get to see her acting abilities and how she has this aura that just completely draws you in. So I too am super excited at the potential pairing with who is also my fav actor Lee Joon Gi. We both can’t contain our excitement! It will be a must see for me too 🙂
