Uee and Kim Kang Woo to Star in Korean Weekend Drama “My Husband Oh Jak Doo”

My Husband Oh Jak Doo Korean Drama - Kim Kang Woo and Uee

Uee (Manhole) and Kim Kang Woo (Circle: Two Worlds Connected) will be starring in the new MBC weekend drama My Husband Oh Jak Doo. My Husband Oh Jak Doo is about a career woman looking to achieve the social status of a married woman by finding a house husband.

Uee will be our career woman with Kim Kang Woo as her house husband. The drama comes from the PD of Flames of Ambition and the writer of Mama. Well, this sounds cute. It’s unique with a sort of role reversal going on. And contract marriages where the couple starts out business like and then develop feelings are always fun!

My Husband Oh Jak Doo is looking to air in March on MBC.

I’ve always had a soft spot for “contract marriage” dramas so I may wanna check this out. My current fave in the genre is a Jdrama called “We got married as a job.” I watched it with a firend of mine and it was one of the sweetest things I’ve ever seen.you should try to check it out sometime.

I really like contract marriage dramas too! And this one sounds like it has a unique twist to it. Thank you for the rec! I will add We Got Married as a Job to my watch list. I’m extremely hit or miss with jdramas, and out of the few I completed, I only loved one of them. But a sweet contract marriage drama is something I would always be willing to give a try 🙂
