Mother Korean Drama - Lee Bo Young and Heo Yool

A heartbreaking 5 minute preview trailer has been released for the upcoming tvN drama Mother starring Lee Bo Young (Whisper). The tone is quite somber and sad as we see the difficult circumstances a young abused girl (Heo Yool) finds herself in. And as Lee Bo Young gets more and more involved, she decides she has to do something.

In order to protect the girl, the pair ends up on the run. They grow closer, but face many challenges as they try to live and stay safe. This drama already looks incredibly emotional, and I think some tears may be shed over this one.

Mother is a remake of the popular Japanese drama of the same name and is about a woman (Lee Bo Young) who kidnaps an abused little girl (Heo Yool) and becomes her mother. It comes from the writer of Thirst and The Handmaiden.

Mother is scheduled to premiere January 24 on tvN.
