Mother Korean Drama - Lee Bo Young and Heo Yool

The second trailer for the upcoming tvN drama Mother starring Lee Bo Young (Whisper) gives us a little bit more than the previous one. We see a scene between her and the little girl as she prepares to take her out of the abusive situation. Different backgrounds flash by as the camera pans out.

There are then several moments between the two as they are on the run. I can already feel the emotions running high, and this looks like it will be an intense journey!

Mother is a remake of the popular Japanese drama of the same name and is about a woman (Lee Bo Young) who kidnaps an abused little girl and becomes her mother. It comes from the writer of Thirst and The Handmaiden.

Mother is scheduled to premiere January 24 on tvN.

This trailer gives a much better impression of the series, and I honestly quite like the vibe that this one seems to have. I will have to see a longer trailer or maybe a first episode first, but I have a feeling this might be a very interesting series to watch 😊

This trailer does make it look a whole lot more interesting for sure 🙂 I know the Japanese series gets a lot of praise, so I’m hoping this one does well. It certainly has piqued my interest!

Looking forward to this one! Couldn’t bring myself to watch Whisper after some distasteful scenes in the first few episodes so I’m hoping I can at least watch Lee Bo Young in this to make up for it.

Me too! I have Whisper on my LONG list, but not sure when I will get around to trying it. Lots of dramas have priority over it, lol
