Yeo Jin Goo Offered Starring Role in Korean Drama “Love Game: The Great Seduction”

Love Game: The Great Seduction Korean Drama - Yeo Jin Goo

If Yeo Jin Goo signs on, count me in! Yeo Jin Goo (Reunited Worlds) has been offered the starring role in the new MBC drama Love Game: The Great Seduction. It is an adaptation of the classic Korean film Untold Scandal which can be traced back to the French novel Les Liaisons Dangeruses that has spawned many other adaptations including a Korean novel and the American films Dangerous Liaisons and Cruel Intentions.

Love Game: The Great Seduction will move the story to modern day Seoul where a dangerous love game ensues. Previous adaptations involved a story of two rich elites who make a bet that if the one man can sleep with a virtuous woman he will then be allowed to sleep with the woman he really wants. Yeo Jin Goo would play our womanizing lead who takes up the bet.

Well, this would certainly be a different kind of role for Yeo Jin Goo. When I initially read the plot descriptions, I didn’t think someone like him would be in consideration. But I think he is more than talented enough to pull off the role by being a sexy playboy yet adding a softness to the character as he experiences love and growth throughout the drama. So if he accepts, you better believe I will be tuning in!

Love Game: The Great Seduction is looking to air in January 2018 on MBC.
