Smart Prison Living Korean Drama - Park Hae Soo and Jung Kyung Ho

A second teaser trailer has been released for the upcoming tvN drama Smart Prison Living (also known as Wise Prison Life) starring Jung Kyung Ho (Missing 9) and Park Hae Soo (Legend of the Blue Sea).

It’s another short one, but at least this time we get to see brief snippets of most of our main cast from the prisoners to the guards. There are a whole lot of recognizable faces in there too. Lots of talent for sure. Just seeing everyone has me excited!

Smart Prison Living is a lighthearted black comedy that tells the  stories of the everyday lives of prison inmates. The PD of the Reply Series is on board with one of the junior writers of the Reply Series penning the script.

Smart Prison Living is scheduled to premiere November 22 on tvN.

Well, this is a better teaser than the first one. It does look like this is going to be a comedy mostly, but I am going to give it a go anyway because of Jung Kyung Ho. 😀

Have you seen any of the Reply series? The same PD and one of the writers is doing this drama, and it seems like it will have a similar vibe. They are not full on comedies but very slice of life and realistic. This seems like it will be very similar with real to life issues being lightened some with humor. Plus they are calling it a black comedy and that genre tends to be serious and melancholy with sort of awkward humor. Should be interesting. Plus, yeah, Jung Kyung Ho 🙂

Can’t say that I have seen that. But, thanks for the suggestion though 😀 Seriously have to do something about that backlog of mine lol 😂😂

I was mostly offering it as a comparison for this drama when it comes to style and tone 🙂 But the Reply series is a good one for fans of slice of life and 80s & 90s nostalgia. But yeah, that backlog is a problem for all of us, lol
