Doubtful Victory Korean Drama - Yoon Kyun Sang

The first trailer has been released for the upcoming SBS crime drama Doubtful Victory starring Yoon Kyun Sang (Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People) and Jung Hye Sung (Manhole).

We get some insight into how Yoon Kyun Sang becomes a detective: after escaping from prison he takes on the identity of an investigator. Then we get to see him humorously trying to adapt to his new situation with Jung Hye Sung being very suspicious of him.

I really wasn’t too sure about this one, but the trailer definitely made my interest levels go up! I really like the fish out of water sort of story as he tries to play the role of a cop. It should also be interesting getting to watch him grow throughout the drama.

Doubtful Victory follows the story of a fake detective who escapes from prison and joins an investigation unit. Yoon Kyun Sang plays our fake detective with Jung Hye Sung as an investigator on the team.

Doubtful Victory is scheduled to premiere November 27 on SBS.

How were you not sure about this one? It’s about a guy who escapes from prison and joins an investigation unit. Sounds pretty darn interesting to me. 😛 lol

Haha, well, I’ve pretty much had my fill of crime and legal dramas this year. There have been sooo many of them! But this one looks a bit different with a fun spin on it, so my interest was finally piqued 🙂

Could definitely become a fun show if it doesn’t go into full out comedy mode (for me personally I would probably skip it then, but that doesn’t mean it becomes a bad series because of that 😉).

It does look fun. I’m thinking it will be balanced. Maybe a bit more comedy in the beginning as he has to adjust to being a cop, but then getting more serious along way 🙂
