Kim Young Ok (Dal Soon’s Spring) and Won Mi Kyung (All’s Well With a Happy Home) will be starring in the new tvN drama The World’s Most Beautiful Farewell. The World’s Most Beautiful Farewell is a remake of the 1996 Noh Hee Kyung drama of the same name and follows the story of a devoted family woman who is diagnosed with terminal cancer which ultimately brings together her ungrateful family.

Won Mi Kyung will play our heroine while Kim Young Ok will play her mother in law. An interesting side note on Kim Young Ok: she will be reprising her role since she actually played the exact same character in the original drama.

We also have some other confirmations. Choi Ji Woo (Woman With a Suitcase) will play Won Mi Kyung’s daughter with Shinee’s Min Ho (Hwarang) as her son. The PD of Dear My Friends is on board to direct. We certainly have quite the cast lined up for what looks to be a heartbreaking yet inspirational story.

The World’s Most Beautiful Farewell is looking to air in December on tvN.
