Grand Prince Korean Drama - Joo Sang WookGrand Prince Korean Drama - Jin Se Yeon

Joo Sang Wook (Fantastic) and Jin Se Yeon (Flower in Prison) have been offered lead roles in the new TV Chosun drama Grand Prince. Grand Prince follows the love-hate relationship between two princes and the woman they both love.

Joo Sang Wook would play the power hungry Grand Prince with Jin Se Yeon as the beautiful and passionate daughter of a government official. The drama comes from the writer of Maids and the PD of Joseon Gunman.

Well, you can pretty much sign me up for any historical love triangles especially those with a tortured bromance. I can easily see Joo Sang Wook doing well with this role, and I’m also fine with Jin Se Yeon if she signs on. I’m pretty spoiled after thoroughly enjoying the love triangle and friendships in the recent drama The King Loves. Here’s hoping we could get even half of the awesomeness that it was.

Grand Prince is looking to air in January 2018 on TV Chosun.

Ooh! I haven’t watched a historical drama since Scarlet Heart (i’m still crying over that ending LOL). But this sounds like it will be a great one!

That’s been a while then. I’ve watched several really good historicals this year. This description definitely reminded me of Scarlet Heart which is a big plus. I loved that drama soooo much! If you like historical love triangles, I would definitely recommend The King Loves or Queen for Seven Days in the meantime 🙂

Yeah it has been awhile! I’ve been wanting to start a historical drama but wasn’t sure which one to go with. I’ve heard Queen for Seven Days was great, so I’ll check that one out! Thanks for the recommendation! 🙂

The modern day drama doesn’t hold my attention very long nowadays. I watch Flower in Prison and 7 Days Queen. Love them especially the former with lady in action. Cant wait to watch Grand Prince with Jin Se Yeon in this. Hope she has fighting scene like what she did in FIP.

The historical dramas most definitely have a way of feeling so much grander and more intriguing than many modern dramas. I really liked 7 Day Queen too! Park Min Young was fantastic! And Grand Prince looks really interesting so it’s one I’m also very much looking forward to 🙂
