While You Were Sleeping was able to overtake Hospital Ship this week in Nielsen drama ratings during the Wednesday-Thursday time slot. It fell just behind it on Wednesday, but While You Were Sleeping nudged just ahead on Thursday to claim the top spot.
Ep. 5 – 5.1%
Ep. 6 – 6.1%
Ep. 7 – 7.9%
Ep. 8 – 8.9%

Hospital Ship has been the leader for all of its run. That changed this week, but just by a little.
Ep. 21 –  5.6%
Ep. 22 – 6.6%
Ep. 23 – 7.1%
Ep. 24 – 8.3%

Ratings were down all around this week due to the Chuseok holiday. Then we had only two dramas left to battle it out. While You Were Sleeping and Hospital Ship were neck and neck both nights, but While You Were Sleeping came out ahead.

Next week brings the premiere of the insurance crime drama Mad Dog starring Yoo Ji Tae and Woo Do Hwan. So we will see how things shape up with a new competitor in the mix.

While You Were Sleeping airs Wednesday and Thursday on SBS.

Hospital Ship airs Wednesday and Thursday on MBC.
