First Dark Teaser Trailer Released for Korean Thriller Drama ‘Black’

The first teaser trailer is out for the upcoming OCN thriller Black starring Song Seung Heon (Saimdang Light’s Diary) and Go Ara (Hwarang). Black tells the story of a grim reaper who falls in love with a human woman. But as punishment for breaking the rules, all records of his existence are erased from the world. The drama comes from the writer of God’s Gift: 14 Days and the PD of Voice.

It’s one of those really short teasers, but it does well at setting the dark tone. We see beautiful roses wither away followed by stormy clouds and a flaming skull. We then get brief glimpses of Song Seung Heon and Go Ara. The fantasy undertone is a bit unique for OCN, so I’m pretty curious to how it will be utilized.

Black is scheduled to premiere in October on OCN.

  I like the premise, and I’m definitely interested in seeing a longer trailer so we can really get a feel for it 🙂

Very, very cool teaser. And you are right, this really looks like it will be a very dark series. This being OCN though,I already pretty much know that it won’t be available here, but who knows, maybe I will be pleasantly surprised 😊

  Yes, it’s too bad you can’t get the OCN dramas. They’ve been putting out some really good thrillers this year. But like you said, who knows. Maybe with all of the changes happening recently, someone will start picking them up.
