Man Who Dies to Live saw another increase in Nielsen drama ratings this week in the Wednesday-Thursday time slot. It was even able to reach another series high on Thursday night.
Ep. 17 – 10.7%
Ep. 18 – 12.8%
Ep. 19 – 11.4%
Ep. 20 – 13.5%
Reunited Worlds is still in second and saw an overall increase this week.
Ep. 17 – 6.4%
Ep. 18- 6.8%
Ep. 19 – 6.7%
Ep. 20 – 7.5%
Manhole premiered to very low numbers last week, and somehow it continued to fall even more this week.
Ep. 3 – 2.2%
Ep. 4 – 2.0%
While Man Who Dies to Live and Reunited Worlds are chugging along, I’m still completely amazed at the numbers we’re seeing with Manhole. Even Criminal Minds over on tvN is bringing in higher numbers (2.5% & 3.1%) which is highly unusual in this time slot. Will Manhole actually fall into the unheard of 1% ratings in the coming weeks?

I wonder why Manhole has received such low ratings! 🤔
Is it that bad or the viewers are having a collective disinterest due to the various scandals associated with the leads.

I’ve really wondered that too! I’ve heard mixed reviews for it, but it does seem like plenty of international fans like it. Not sure if it’s the scandals or it’s just to wacky of a drama or a little bit of both. It’s disappointing that the numbers are so low. I’m still looking forward to checking it out and hope it doesn’t get cut 😦

Some things just can’t be explained I guess. I can’t judge as I haven’t actually seen this series, but it sometimes surprises me how some series just seem to fail, that have such a great premise, while others seem to flourish. It’s really a shame. Hopefully the ratings will go up, it seemed like a very fun show.

Yep, it’s hard to know sometimes. I hope the ratings do improve though since I don’t want it to become one of those rare kdrama cancellations 😦

Are people just feed up with Time Travel?

I’m really not sure. Hopefully not too much because we still have several more time travel dramas coming up this year! It’s sad to see such low ratings though 😦
