Borg Mom Korean Drama - Yang Dong Geun and Park Han Byul

Well, there’s an interesting title for you! Yang Dong Geun (Missing 9) and Park Han Byul (I Have a Lover) will be starring in the new MBC drama Borg Mom. Borg Mom is a comedy drama about an inventor who creates a robot that looks exactly like his dead wife. She will then try to fit in with the elite society of mothers.

Yang Dong Geun will be our inventor with Park Han Byul as the robot mom. It’s certainly a fun premise for a drama, and the set up is primed for all sorts of hilarious scenarios. I guess we have a variety of robot dramas to look forward to this year!

Borg Mom is looking to air in late 2017 on MBC.

Is it me, or does this title remind me of Star Trek? 😊

It’s just you. Lol, just kidding. I think the word Borg will forever be associated with Star Trek 🙂

I immediately thought of Star Trek too 🙂 Hope the mom is more friendly than the Star Trek-Borg though, and hope she doesn’t go around assimilating other moms. 😀

But the premise sounds cool . I could definitely use a Borg mom to help out every now and then !

    Reminds me of Small Wonder

I looked up Small Wonder because I thought I hadn’t heard of it before. Turns out it’s a show I watched way back when and had completely forgot it existed until now! How funny 🙂

It was very popular in my country when it aired back in the 90s and early 2000s…oh the memories.

Once you mentioned it and I looked it up, I was like “Oh yeah! I really liked that show when I was younger!” Now I need to track it down and watch it again, hehe
