With two dramas ending last week, things looked a bit different this week. My Sassy Girl rose to the top spot in Nielsen drama ratings during the Monday-Tuesday time slot. It even brought in a series high for its finale.
Episode 29 – 8.9%
Episode 30 – 10.2%
Episode 31 – 9.6%
Episode 32 – 11.4%
We saw the premiere of the saguek melodrama The King Loves. It started off with pretty solid ratings on Monday, but it then saw a pretty sharp drop on Tuesday.
Episode 1 – 7.8%
Episode 2 – 8.1%
Episode 3 – 5.1%
Episode 4 – 6.0%
School 2017 also premiered this week. It landed on bottom both nights including seeing a decrease for its second episode.
Episode 1 – 5.9%
Episode 2 – 4.2%
With Fight for My Way out of the picture, My Sassy Girl was able to end in first place. It performed solidly throughout its run. I was interested to see how the new dramas would stack up. I was a bit surprised to see the drop from night one to night two for The King Loves as well as the low numbers for School 2017. But things could change next week when we see the premiere of the legal thriller Falsify starring Nam Goong Min and Uhm Ji Won.
