Kdrama Kisses

I am so excited for this drama! The first trailer was just released for the upcoming SBS drama Reunited Worlds starring Yeo Jin Goo (Circle: Two Worlds Connected) and Lee Yeon Hee (Hwajeong).

And it’s so good to see Yeo Jin Goo smiling after the roller coaster he went on in Circle: Two Worlds Connected. Of course, it looks like he will have some difficulties in this drama too.

The trailer opens by showing us the close relationship of high school students Yeo Jin Goo and Jung Chae Yeon as they go on a bike ride, laugh, and he gives her a necklace. But things take a terrible turn when Yeo Jin Goo is hit by car, killing him.

Jung Chae Yeon is devastated by the loss of him. It shows her crying as she runs through the rain and then the scene transitions to her present day self played by Lee Yeon Hee. Yeo Jin Goo then wakes up on a rooftop on a beautiful sunny day 12 years after his accident with a smile on his face.

Yeah, I’m excited! What a lovely first trailer to set up the story as well as the tone of healing that Yeo Jin Goo’s character is supposed to bring to those around him. I sure am glad this drama is coming up fast!

Reunited Worlds is about childhood friends that were born in the same year, but after the man dies in an accident at 19, he reappears 12 years later looking the same while the woman is now 31. It comes from the writer of Girl Who Sees Smells and Beautiful Gong Shim.

Reunited Worlds is scheduled to premiere July 19 on SBS.
