Manhole Korean Drama - JYJ's Jaejoong

JYJ’s Jaejoong (Spy) has been confirmed to be starring in the new KBS time travel drama Manhole. It will be his comeback drama after returning from the military. Manhole is about a man who discovers a way to time travel to the past where he tries to prevent a wedding that is about to happen in his time.

The drama comes from the writer of Special Affairs Team Ten and the PD of Vineyard Man. An offer is also out to UEE (Marriage Contract) to star alongside Jaejoong.

Operation Proposal anyone? It definitely reminds of that drama where a man kept going back in time trying to prevent the wedding of his long time friend who he harbored feelings for. Of course, I love time travel stories, so I will most definitely be checking this one out!

Manhole is looking to air in August on KBS.

I absolutely lage timetravelling stories as well. Honestly I can’t quite get enough of them 😀 Looking forward to this, and the concept and premise seem pretty cool. I understand from your post that this story apparently was already featured on another show. Since I haven’t seen that one, it’s okay for me 😊 Looks like it could be a fun show.

Time travel pretty much always pulls me in too 🙂 Yeah, a few years back Operation Proposal had what seems like almost the same basic premise. Of course, most shows kind of do that anyway since it’s hard to come up with stuff that is truly unique. But this one does seem very similar. That doesn’t really bother me though, as I’m sure there will be plenty of differences, and since it’s time travel, I really don’t mind 🙂
