My Golden Life Korean Drama - Park Shi Hoo

Park Shi Hoo (Neighborhood Hero) has been offered a leading role in the new KBS weekend drama My Golden Life. My Golden Life is about a woman whose family was ruined financially, but she finds happiness despite it. Park Shi Hoo would play a chaebol heir at a large corporation.

An offer previously went out to UEE (Night Light) as a temporary worker in the marketing department of the corporation, but it wasn’t long before she declined the role. The drama comes from the writer of My Daughter Seo Young and Twenty Again and the PD of You Who Rolled in Unexpectedly.

I wonder how many episodes this drama will be? If it a shorter weekend drama around 20 episodes, I might give it a look. But if it’s like a lot of the weekenders with 50 or more episodes, I’ll probably have to pass. But first we need to get the cast confirmed.

My Golden Life is looking to premiere in August on KBS.

Hmm, not to sure about this one yet. Have to find out more about it before I van really judge it. But if it has 50 episodes, I will definitely pass on it (already have way too little time on my hands lol 😂).

Yeah, the episode count would play a big factor for me. I don’t mind longer dramas, but I usually prefer them to be historicals which tend to have more to work with as far as plot goes 🙂

The writer makes this drama look like one to check out, but PSH’s past issues could be a problem. “Neighborhood Hero” was not to my liking.

I don’t think I’ve seen any of this writer’s work, but I’ve heard good things. I didn’t care for Neighborhood Hero either, and it’s actually one of the few dramas that has made it to my dropped list, lol.
