Kdrama Kisses

The first teaser trailer is out for the new KBS sageuk drama Seven Day Queen starring Yeon Woo Jin (Introverted Boss), Park Min Young (Remember: War of the Son), and Lee Dong Gun (Laurel Tree Tailors).

It’s one of those customary super short ones, but it’s still pretty good. We get brief shots of all three of our leads. The trailer is beautifully shot with with lovely imagery and a heavy feeling of angst. I’m anxious to see more of this historical melodrama in the weeks to come!

Seven Day Queen is a political romance about the love story between King Jungjong (Yeon Woo Jin) and the daughter (Park Min Young) of a powerful politician who became queen for just one week before being dethroned because of her fathers attempted political coup. She gets caught in a love triangle with him and his half brother King Yeonsangung (Lee Dong Gun).

Seven Day Queen is scheduled to premiere May 31 on KBS.
