Humor and Intrigue in First Trailer for Korean Drama ‘My Sassy Girl’

The first trailer is finally out for the new sageuk drama My Sassy Girl starring Joo Won (Yong Pal) and Oh Yeon Seo (Come Back Ahjussi). It’s a good one that gives us a great look at both Joo Won and Oh Yeon Seo.

We see quite a few humorous interactions between the pair as Joo Won finds himself quite frustrated by our princess. We then get some palace intrigue as well as some action scenes. The trailer ends with a romantic embrace between our lead couple.

Well, I’m definitely excited for this one! It seems like it’s taken forever to get here. Of course, we still have another month to go. But May really is jam packed with dramas including several sagueks that I want to see. Luckily, this was a solid first trailer, but it just makes me anxious to see more!

My Sassy Girl is a sageuk remake of the classic movie of the same name about a quirky, troublemaker princess (Oh Yeon Seo) who gets involved with a city man (Joo Won).

My Sassy Girl is scheduled to premiere May 29 on SBS.

I loved the original and so my interest was peeked when I heard they where turning it into a drama. However, somehow I went on without knowing they where changing up the time periods. lol it came as a big surprise and has actually gotten me even more interested now. 😀

  Haha, I can see how the time period change would be quite surprising if you just recently learned about it 🙂 I’ve been interested in this drama since very early on. I kind of doubt it will be too similar to the original aside from Oh Yeon Seo being on the sassy side, lol. But I think it looks great so far, and I’m very excited for it 🙂
