Cha Tae Hyun (Producer) has joined the cast of the upcoming KBS variety drama The Best Hit. He will play a man who was once a big time manager but is now the CEO of a small entertainment company.

He joins Yoon Shi Yoon (Mirror of the Witch) as a pop star with good looks and dance skills, but he is frequently involved in scandals, Kim Min Jae (Goblin: The Lonely and Great God) as an idol trainee that dreams of being a star, and Lee Se Young (Laurel Tree Tailors) who keeps failing at the civil service exam.

Cha Tae Hyun will also be making his directorial debut as he teams up with PD Yoo Ho Jin of 1 Night 2 Days to produce the drama.

The Best Hit is a comedy following the lives of young adults in the music entertainment industry. The drama comes from the writer of the High Kick series and Potato Star 2013QR3.

The Best Hit is looking to air in May on KBS.
