Ji Chang Wook Offered Starring Role in Korean Drama ‘Be Careful of This Woman’

Be Careful of This Woman Korean Drama - Ji Chang Wook

Ji  Chang Wook (The K2) has been offered the leading role in the new SBS drama Be Careful of This Woman (also called Beware This Woman). Ji Chang Wook would play a talented prosecutor turned attorney who suffered trauma in his past.

Lee Sung Kyung (Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo) is still considering an offer to star opposite of him as a prosecutor trainee.

Be Careful of This Woman Korean Drama - Lee Sung Kyung

Be Careful of This Woman is a romantic comedy thriller about prosecutors dealing with an amnesiac killer coming after them. The drama comes from the writer of I Remember You and Protect the Boss.

I hadn’t ever pictured this pairing, but I like it! I think they would both do well with this mixed romantic comedy thriller genre. And the premise sounds perfect to be intense yet fun and heartwarming. I hope they both sign on!

Be Careful of This Woman is looking to air in May on SBS.

UPDATE 3/30/17: UPDATE 3/30/17: Ji Chang Wook and Nam Ji Hyun will star in Be Careful of This Woman.

Sounds intriguing. Hopefully it is not too similar to Choi Jin Hyuk’s Pride and Prejudice Is this his last drama before he enlists?

I think it sounds really intriguing too. I haven’t seen Pride and Prejudice, so I don’t know how similar it sounds. Yes, this should be his last project before the military. He said in an interview that he wanted to do one more project and a drama makes the most sense time wise. So it sounds likes he’s ready and this could be a great one for him 🙂

  3. I really hope they take the parts!

An amnesiac killer huh? That really does sound intriguing, it’s nice to know that there are still original ideas in the serial killer genre to be thought out. 😊

  6. UGH, i love them both. Lee Sung Kyung is such an amazing actress and the fact that she’ll star with Ji Chang Wook makes it x10 better. From what i know this is his last drama before he’s going into the military 😦

  8. Hmm I think Jo Chang Wook will be great with Han Ji Min, they both are experienced actors. I liked Lee Sung Kyung in both Weightlifting fairy and cheese in the trap but she is a bit immature as an actress to be across from JCW and in a serious role especially. Looking forward to this!

I thought they would have been great together too, but Han Ji Min ended up turning it down. It looks Nam Ji Hyun is now considering though, and I really like her too. Definitely excited for this drama!
