Whisper Korean Drama - Lee Sang Yoon and Lee Bo Young

The first trailers are out for the new SBS drama Whisper starring Lee Sang Yoon (On the Way to the Airport) and Lee Bo Young (God’s Gift – 14 Days). They are dark and tense as we get our first look at the complicated relationship between our couple as they go from enemies to lovers. The stakes are high and they have to go up against a huge amount of corruption.

I really like the dynamic between Lee Sang Yoon and Lee Bo Young. There’s always something really intriguing and intense about a couple that starts out hating one another then eventually growing to love each other. These trailers certainly set the tense and moody tone for what looks like should a pretty heavy legal thriller.

Whisper is a suspense melodrama centered around cops and lawyers and a huge corruption scandal.  The drama comes from the writer of Punch and Empire of Gold and the director of Punch and You’re All Surrounded.

Whisper is scheduled to premiere March 27 on SBS.

Okay, I literally had goosebumps on my arms when watching these trailers. With so many familiair faces, and a storyline that I usually enjoy a lot (corruption) this one has now moved right up to the top of my list for things to watch/look forward to on Korean dramaseries. Have watched the trailers twice, something I don’t do often. Very cool this…looking forward to it 😀😀

Right? These were some intense trailers! I haven’t seen this writer’s work, but their other dramas are heavily praised for their dark, intense, melodramatic thrillers that focus on corruption. It has a good cast and looks really promising 🙂
