Chief Kim solidified its first place position in Nielsen drama ratings this week. It saw another nice increase this week by bringing in 15.5% for episode 5 on Wednesday. It then continued to rise with 16.7% for episode 6 on Thursday.

Saimdang Light’s Diary continued to fall, but still brought in a solid 10.7% for episode 5 on Wednesday. It then increased to 12% for episode 6 on Thursday.

Missing 9 also saw a decrease bringing in 3.8% for episode 7 on Wednesday and then rebounded to 4.4% for episode 8 on Thursday.

The gap widened between Chief Kim and Saimdang Light’s Diary this week. Chief Kim appears to have a lot of upward momentum, so maybe this surprise hit office comedy will just continue to climb in the weeks to come.

Saimdang Light’s Diary airs Wednesday and Thursday on SBS.

Missing 9 airs Wednesday and Thursday on MBC.

Chief Kim airs Wednesday and Thursday on KBS.
