Kdrama Kisses

We have our first teaser trailer out for the upcoming MBC sageuk drama Ruler: Master of the Mask starring Yoo Seung Ho (Remember: War of the Son) and Kim So Hyun (Let’s Fight Ghost). It introduces us to our main characters, and the stakes already feel very high with each of them having something they want to accomplish.

This drama is still a ways off, but it’s great to already have a nice look at both Yoo Seung Ho and Kim So Hyun. They both look gorgeous decked out in sageuk attire, and I can’t wait to see the moving performances I know these two will deliver.

Ruler: Master of the Mask is about a Joseon prince (Yoo Seung Ho) who fights against injustice in society by going up against a shadow organization wanting to privatize the waters of Joseon. A woman (Kim So Hyun) is also out for revenge against the prince after her father is put to death because of his orders. Of course, things get complicated when she falls in love with him.

Ruler: Master of the Mask is scheduled to air in May 2017 on MBC.
