Goblin Sees an Increase in Korean Drama Ratings

Goblin Korean Drama - Gong Yoo and Kim Go Eun

Fantasy melodrama Goblin starring Gong Yoo, Kim Go Eun, Lee Dong Wook, Yoo In Na, and Yook Sung Jae saw another successful week in ratings and saw an increase from last week. It rose to 12.2% for episode 7 on Friday and 12.3% for episode 8 on Saturday.

So Goblin continues its successful run as it hits its halfway point. It’s great to see it receive so much success as well as a lot of love from fans. Here’s hoping it climbs even higher in its second half!

Goblin is a fantasy romance about a modern day goblin (Gong Yoo) who wants to end his immortal life and needs a human bride (Kim Go Eun) to do so.  He ends up living with a grim reaper (Lee Dong Wook) who has amnesia.  The drama will tell the story of the lives of those that see the souls of the dead to the afterlife. The drama comes from the writer of Descendants of the Sun.

Goblin airs Friday and Saturday on tvN.

    I have yet to see episode 7 and 8 (waiting for the translation lol) but it is no surprise at all that the ratings are increasing. 😀
