Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim stayed above 20% in ratings this week. It brought in 20.4% for episode 9 on Monday and rose to yet another new series high of 22.8% for episode 10 on Tuesday.
Night Light decreased again from last week by bringing in 4.7% for episode 5 on Monday. It then brought in 5.4% for episode 6 on Tuesday.
The Man Living in Our House remained pretty steady, but it did see a slight decrease from last week. It brought in 4.1% on Monday for episode 13 and 3.4% for episode 14 on Tuesday.
There’s not much left for the other two dramas with Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim bringing in such high numbers. Next week brings us the finale of The Man Living in Our House, so we’ll see how it does in its final week.

This year higher ratings seem to be more common. Ever since DOTS had the juggernaught rating other shows have garnered 20% or above which seems outside the morm. Or maybe it is the new norm.

I would still say it’s not the norm as it’s still pretty rare, but I think we have had a few more hit that mark this year than last year. Let see, there was DOTS, Doctors, Moonlight Drawn by Clouds, and now Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim. Legend of the Blue Sea may do it. Reply 1988 came awful close to 20% and that was on cable. Am I missing any others?

I can’t think of anymore for 2016 (considering I get that data from you I defer). If you looked to 2015, how many were above 20%?

The only one I noted from 2015 was Yong Pal. So I would definitely say this year produced many more high rated dramas in Korea.

That was my impression too. Thanks for verifying by checking the 2015 dramas.
