Kdrama Kisses

INFINITE’s L (My Lovely Girl) has been confirmed to be joining the cast of the new MBC sageuk drama Ruler: Master of the Mask starring Yoo Seung Ho (Remember: War of the Son) and Kim So Hyun (Let’s Fight Ghost). He will play a man from a poor background who acts as a false king for Yoo Seung Ho’s character.

Also recently joining the cast is Yoon So Hee (Memory) as the granddaughter of the leader of the shadow organization that the prince is fighting against. She ends up going against her family because of her love for the prince.

So it looks like we have our main cast rounded out. The story and characters for this drama are very intriguing, and I can’t wait to see the first stills and trailers.

Ruler: Master of the Mask is about a Joseon prince (Yoo Seung Ho) who fights against injustice in society by going up against a shadow organization wanting to privatize the waters of Joseon. A woman (Kim So Hyun) is also out for revenge against the prince after her father is put to death because of his orders. Of course, things get complicated when she falls in love with him.

Ruler: Master of the Mask is looking to air in early 2017 on MBC.
