Choi Jin Hyuk Offered Lead Role in Korean Crime Drama Tunnel

Tunnel Korean Drama

Choi Jin Hyuk (Pride and Prejudice) has been offered the starring role in the new OCN time travel crime drama Tunnel. Tunnel is about a violent crimes detective from the past that travels through time to the present day.

If he accepts, this would be Choi Jin Hyuk’s first project since his early discharge from the military for knee surgery last October. I’m excited to potentially see him back on screen and hope we find out soon.

Tunnel is looking to air in early 2017 on OCN.

There was a series way back in the past called The Time Tunnel, which had a group of people travelling through time at different points in history. This sounds a (little) bit like that. Interesting premise to be sure. Might be an interesting series to at least check out when released 😀

I love time travel stuff immensely. Of course, if he just travels to the future and that’s it, it will mostly be a regular crime drama. But if it could manage something like Signal where it completely integrates the aspect of different time periods into the story, that would be amazing. But Signal will be one of those dramas that’s always hard to live up to when it comes to both crime dramas and the time aspect.
