I’m liking all of these new dramas! It’s great to see the popular hit Moonlight Drawn By Clouds finally coming to DramaFever. Both melos look unique and interesting too. It’s also good to see them expanding their collection of Chinese dramas with Princess Weiyoung. Lots of good stuff to choose from!

The Princess Wei Young looks, and sounds pretty cool. Liking the story of that. Have noted it for future reference, but seeing as I have now received so many great tips on shows from reading your posts, I am first going to complete a few lol😂

Yeah, I would definitely say you have more important dramas to attend to first, hehe 🙂

Unfortunately, I ended up dropping Moonlight Drawn By Clouds despite adoring Park Bo Gum in it because I wasn’t as invested with the plot as when I started it. And I’m so glad you added Princess Weiyoung despite this list being predominantly Korean dramas! Did you ever get around to watching it yet? I recently just finished. I had several reservations with it but, overall, it was so, so entertaining. ^.^

    Happy watching and blogging,

It’s good to hear from you again Summer 🙂 I ended up enjoying Moonlight Drawn By Clouds for the post part, but for me it did lose a lot of its charm after the reveal that she was a girl.

I haven’t had a chance to watch Princess Weiyoung yet. But I really want to see it! It looks wonderful, and there is so much positive stuff being said about it. The only reason I haven’t got around to it is because of the episode count. Not that I mind a longer drama at all, it’s just harder to fit it in. I finished the cdrama Chronicle of Life about a month ago and have been wanting another Chinese historical. I’ve also had Nirvana in Fire on my list for awhile too. But I will get to Princess Weiyoung 🙂

I felt the same way about Moonlight. I stopped watching after the reveal, haha.

And I’m not blaming you. Historical dramas are so intimidating because they’re so long. Plus, this also means for excessive plot fillers and dragged out storylines. And ooh, you should definitely add Nirvana on Fire onto your priority list. I just started it about a week ago, and I’m already on episode 40 because it’s that compelling. The romance certainly takes a backseat, which isn’t a bad thing, and the political maneuvering is what drives the story forward. However, it’s one that is slower paced and confusing once you start, but it picks up pretty quickly. From what I’ve seen though, I highly recommend it! 🙂

Haha, I think a lot of people had that experience with Moonlight. Oh I definitely like a good long historical drama because of how rich and full they are. But I can usually watch 3-4 regular dramas in the same span of time it takes to watch one. And there are just so many dramas that it’s hard to keep up, lol.

Glad you’re liking Nirvana in Fire. Everyone was really buzzing about that one back when it came out and I added it to my list. I’m still a bit worried about it being to heavy on the politics, but everyone says it’s actually pretty intense once you get through those first few episodes. I definitely plan to check it out too 🙂

They’re all right! I thought the politics would go over my head as well, but as more characters are introduced and the viewer watches past the first few episodes, the political maneuvering is, surprisingly, easy to follow. So no need to have qualms on that aspect. XD

I’m definitely excited for it. It sounds so good! I just hope I can find a good time to work it in soon 🙂
