Humorous and Heartwarming Trailers Released for Korean Drama Oh My Geum Bi

The first trailers are out for the new KBS drama Oh My Geum Bi (previously titled My Fair Lady) starring Oh Ji Ho (My Little Baby), Park Jin Hee (Memory), and Heo Jung Eun (Moonlight Drawn By Clouds). They definitely have a humorous and heartwarming feeling to them.

Heo Jung Eum is very adorable and spunky as Oh Ji Ho’s daughter. I’m already liking the lively rapport between the two. I’m also glad to see there will be a lighter side to the drama, but I’m still pretty scared of the very sad subject matter. But my interest has officially been piqued, so I will be keeping an eye on this one.

Oh My Geum Bi tells the story of a father (Oh Ji Ho) caring for his 8 year old daughter with a rare disease known as childhood Alzheimer’s. He became a swindler after having to give up his dream of being a chef after losing his sense of smell. He then meets a lonely woman (Park Jin Hee) who helps care for his daughter.

Oh My Geum Bi is scheduled to premiere November 16 on KBS.

I always find it pretty amazing that a child that young is able to act so incredibly well. This is looking to be a fun series. Aargh…another one lol 😂

  I do too. And I’ve come across some particularly talented child actors in Korean dramas. I just saw this girl in Moonlight Drawn By Clouds and I thought she did excellent. And I really like the rapport between her and Oh Ji Ho in this. I think this will be a lot of fun in the first half or so and then break my heart when they have to deal with her illness 🙁

    Yes, this one will probably have a warning printed in front of it: keep a box of tissues close😀 That said, I still think this is going to be a really heartwarming tale. Really looking forward to it.😀

      I’m sure it will need one! I think it’s going to be pretty heartwarming too. I’m a sucker for stories where the father discovers he has a daughter and all the fun and cute that comes it 🙂
