Mother Korean Drama - Lee Bo Young

Lee Bo Young (God’s Gift – 14 Days) has been offered the lead role in the new tvN drama Mother. Mother is a remake of the popular Japanese drama of the same name and is about a woman who kidnaps a mistreated little girl and becomes her mother. The Korean version will be penned by Jung Seo Kyung who wrote the movies Thirst and The Handmaiden.

Apparently, several actresses have been approached for the title role, but I can definitely see Lee Bo Young as this character. I haven’t seen the original Japanese drama, but I’m aware of it’s success, and I’m interested in the Korean take on it.

Mother is looking to premiere in the first half of 2017 of tvN.

Hmm, this sounds like another very interesting storyline. Wow, 2017 is gearing up to be a great year for Koream dramaseries. It is almost too hard to make a choice as to what to watch 😀

Yes, it does! I know the Japanese version is extremely popular, but now I’ll probably just wait for the Korean version, hehe. Yeah, 2016 has been an amazing drama year with fantastic dramas just coming out one after another. And 2017 already has quite a few interesting dramas lined up. The choices just keep coming!
