Ji Soo! I’m always excited to see his name in relation to casting news. Fresh off the set of his recent drama Fantastic, Ji Soo has now been confirmed for the new JTBC drama Strong Woman Do Bong Soon alongside Park Hyung Shik (High Society) and Park Bo Young (Oh My Ghostess).

But it looks like he will again be relegated to a drama life of pining away for our leading lady. Ji Soo is set to play an upright detective who is in a one-sided love with Park Bo Young. So it looks like I will be diagnosed with Second Lead Syndrome again! I’m still waiting for the day he gets a proper lead role, but I won’t complain too much since it’s great to see him getting so many acting opportunities.

Strong Woman Do Bong Soon will focus on women and include comedy, action, and fantasy. The drama comes from the writer of My Love Eun Dong and the PD of Ms. Temper and Nam Jung Gi.

Strong Woman Do Bong Soon is looking to air in early 2017 on JTBC.
