First Trailer Released for Korean Drama Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim

We have our first trailer for the new SBS drama Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim starring Han Seok Kyu (Secret Door), Yoo Yeon Seok (Warm and Cozy) and Seo Hyun Jin (Oh Hae Young Again). It’s actually a decent length and has a nice opening narrative by Han Seok Kyu. We also see Yoo Yeon Seok and Seo Hyun Jin in action at the hospital as well as the two about to share a kiss. So all in all, it’s a pretty good first trailer.

The drama comes from the writer of Gu Family Book and King of Baking, Kim Tak Gu. The PD’s previous works include You’re All Surrounded, Giant, and History of Salaryman.

Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim is about a talented doctor (Han Seok Kyu) who lives as a recluse. He meets some younger doctors and becomes a mentor to them teaching them about love and life. Yoo Yeon Seok plays a man who became a doctor to best his rival while Seo Hyun Jin became a doctor to get recognition.

Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim is scheduled to premiere November 7 on SBS.

Looks good, but am gonna pass on this one. I’m currently watching a hospital series,which is gonna be the last one for this year. Have seen a lot of them the past few months 😀

  Yeah, as of now, I’ll pass on this one too. I really like the writer of the drama, but there have been soooo many doctor dramas this year! So unless it just gets amazing reviews, I’ll put that time towards one of the many other dramas I’m already really excited for 🙂

I enjoy the thrills of medical dramas but couldn’t finish ‘Doctors’ despite the sky high ratings. I did enjoy ‘Beautiful Mind’ and Jang Hyuk’s brilliant performance. The trailer doesn’t give me any vibes and the description is too vague at this time to make it on my must watch list. Jury’s out on this one for me too but I’ll keep it on the maybe list.

  I haven’t got around to Doctors yet. It seems a lot of people really liked the characters, but there was a lack of plot. I really enjoyed Beautiful Mind and Jang Hyuk too.
  
  I’m completely with you on this drama. I really like the writer, but nothing else is grabbing me about it. It’s on my maybe list too as I’ll wait to see some of the reaction to it.
