Missing 9 Korean Drama - Jung Kyung Ho

An offer is now out to Jung Kyung Ho (One More Happy Ending) to star in the new drama Missing 9. The drama previously went by the names of Picnic and Gaia. The description of the drama has also undergone some changes. Missing 9 is now about a washed up Kpop star who is now a struggling reporter and his stylist who get stranded together on a deserted island.

Offers previously went out to Kang Ha Neul (Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Goryeo) and Hyeri (Entertainer), but both declined. The drama is also now on its third writer who penned Police Unit 38, Bad Guys, and Vampire Prosecutor.

So this drama is definitely having a hard time getting everything together. I actually liked the initial premise of idols and a regular girl getting stranded on the island. But I don’t mind aging them up either. And if Jung Kyung Ho signs on, I’m definitely on board. He’s just too good to pass up!

Missing 9 has yet to secure a network or air date.

Yes, it’s definitely an advantage going against new premieres. It will be interesting to see how they do in the coming weeks. You’re welcome! I’m particularly looking forward to Missing 9 and really hoping Jung Kyung Ho accepts 🙂
