Yoo Seung Ho (Remember: War of the Son) has been offered the lead role in the new sageuk drama Ruler: Master of the Mask. Ruler: Master of the Mask is about a Joseon prince who fights against a shadow organization causing injustice in society. The drama will be 20 episodes and will be completely pre-produced.
I’m thrilled to see Yoo Seung Ho’s name in the mix for another drama after he turned down a role in The Man Living in Our House. Of course, we all know Yoo Seung Ho does well in sageuks, and this sounds like a great role for him.
Ruler: Master of the Mask is still looking for a network and is looking to air in early 2017.
