Yoona to Star in Korean Drama The K2 with Ji Chang Wook; First Teaser Trailer Released

It looks like Yoona (Prime Minister and I) has been confirmed to be starring in the new tvN drama The K2 alongside Ji Chang Wook (Healer). It’s been a few years since her last kdrama, The Prime Minister and I, and many fans are excited to see Ji Chang Wook back in dramaland after his last hit drama Healer. These two will make a very beautiful pair, and I’m excited to see this drama take shape.

We even have a first teaser trailer out for the drama, but there isn’t much to see…literally. It’s just a black screen with the cast’s names scrolling by and some ominous sounds in the background. So there you have it.

The K2 tells the story of a bodyguard who is dedicated to his country but is tossed aside by it and is now out for revenge and a woman who is the secret daughter of a presidential candidate.

The K2 is scheduled to premiere September 23 on tvN.

OMG OMG OMG!!!
The teaser didn’t give a glimpse of them… LOL They just teased us…Hahaha
I will surely watch this! Can’t wait to see it!!! <3

      I haven’t started W yet. 2 episodes a week would be hard enough for me to wait, let alone 1. I feel for you! I’ll be starting it soon and absolutely can’t wait to get in on the excitement 🙂

I’m getting so used to pre-produced dramas and having to wait months to see them, this is a treat that it will premiere next month. Definitely looking forward to it.

  Haha, I was actually just thinking about that when I saw the premiere date. It’s almost strange having a pretty anticipated drama airing so quickly and doing the live shoot thing. I’m super excited about this one too 🙂

I just finished Healer and desperate for anything Ji Chang Wook. Hope this is good! I’ll miss Park Min Young tho 🙁

  Haha, I understand the feeling after completing Healer! Ji Chang Wook and Park Min Young are one of the best drama couples ever. I’m definitely looking forward to The K2 and his pairing with Yoona though 🙂

      Yeah, I don’t know why there’s so much hate. Yoona is definitely one of the better idol actresses. We know they’ll look good together, and if things are done well, I’m very hopeful they will have good chemistry too 🙂
