Motion Poster Trailers Released for Korean Drama Scarlet Heart: Goryeo

Scarlet Heart Goryeo Korean Drama - Lee Joon Gi

Woohoo! I’m loving every little bit of information that is coming out about the new SBS drama Scarlet Heart: Goryeo (also titled Moon Lovers) starring Lee Joon Gi (Scholar Who Walks the Night) and IU (Producer). They have recently put out a couple of motion poster teaser trailers.

They are basically Lee Joon Gi and IU in what looks like moving pictures that eventually freeze and transform into a poster. They are simple, but neat. Lee Joon Gi is looking all kinds of cool in his motion poster, while IU looks elegant and beautiful.

With a steady stream of stills, posters, and teasers being put out for the drama, the excitement keeps steadily building. Luckily, the premiere is drawing closer, but it just can’t get here fast enough!

Scarlet Heart: Goryeo is a remake of the popular Chinese drama Scarlet Heart (Bu Bu Jin Xin) and tells the story of a modern day woman (IU) who travels back in time to the Goryeo era and gets romantically involved with several princes.

Scarlet Heart: Goryeo is scheduled to premiere August 29 on SBS.

So excited for this drama! I don’t normally watch historical dramas, but it sounds like a combination of Splash Splash Love (my first semi-historical drama) and Brothers’ Conflict (the manga/anime) so I actually can’t wait to see how it turns out 🙂

I’m beyond excited for this drama too! I do like historicals though, but I’m more picky with them. This one looks like it should have a nice mix of romance, action, and drama to keep things interesting 🙂
