Kdrama Kisses

Shin Sung Rok (Liar Game) has been confirmed to be starring in the new KBS drama On the Way to the Airport along with Lee Sang Yoon (Twenty Again) and Kim Haneul (A Gentleman’s Dignity).

On the Way to the Airport explores the topic of whether men and women can just be friends.  Lee Sang Yoon plays a lecturer at a university married to Jang Hee Jin (Mirror of the Witch). Kim Haneul is an airplane stewardess married to Shin Sung Rok.

Shin Sung Rok’s character is an airline pilot who married Kim Ha Neul after she got pregnant. After always being very dedicated to his wife, he begins to start noticing other women which results in some trouble.

I’m still interested to see if the drama will keep Lee Sang Yoon and Kim Haneul in a just friends situation for the entire drama, or if it will be exploring the possibilities of romantic feelings developing between them and how that affects their marriages.

This is also a reunion for Lee Sang Yoon and Shin Sung Rok who were pitted against each other in the drama Liar Game.

On the Way to the Airport is scheduled to premiere in September on KBS.
