W Two Worlds Korean Drama - Lee Jong Suk and Han Hyo Joo

I’m completely loving the new trailer for the upcoming MBC romantic suspense melodrama W – Two Worlds starring Lee Jong Suk (Pinocchio) and Han Hyo Joo (Dong Yi).  First, both actors look wonderful, and it is visually beautiful in its portrayal of the two worlds.

Then they clearly depict our two lovers being separated from each other in their respective worlds: Han Hyo Joos’s being the real world and Lee Jong Suk’s being the comic fantasy world.

The trailer shows them gazing at each other through a clear barrier.  Lee Jong Suk flashes between being ‘real’ and a comic drawing. I must say, I really like how they’ve portrayed his comic self.

Then he begins to pound the barrier, wanting to get to her. She reaches out her hand to touch the barrier, and he does the same.  When their hands touch, the barrier between the two world begins to shatter.  Wow! What a unique and lovely trailer!

Action and Suspense Set the Stage in First Trailer
for W – Two Worlds

W - Two Worlds Korean Drama - Lee Jong Suk

The first trailer is out for W – Two Worlds, and it’s full of excitement! Lee Jong Suk appears to be living in the fantasy realm as a super chaebol who is a trillionaire, an Olympic athlete, and seems to be an action star when it comes to taking down the bad guys.  After taking them out, he pauses to give us a nice rain soaked wink to show just how cool he is.  Haha, loving it!

Han Hyo Joo appears afraid and confused as she ends up in a place she is unfamiliar with and is taken in by the police.  Lee Jong Suk is also left bloodied on a rooftop wondering where she is.

Wow, I’m loving the unique story for this, and the trailer really sets up the dramatic and fantasy vibe.  W – Two Worlds comes from the writer of Nine: 9 Time Travels and Queen In Hyun’s Man, so I have a high hopes for a solid fantasy story.

W – Two Worlds Releases Intense New Trailer

W Two Worlds Korean Drama - Lee Jong Suk and Han Hyo Joo 3

A new trailer for W – Two Worlds has been released.  It has a nice mix of intensity with a dash of humor. We see Lee Jong Suk as the ultimate hero figure. But as the lead character in Han Hyo Joo’s father’s webtoon, Lee Jong Suk ends up constantly having to escape death with the help of Han Hyo Joo when her father decides to kill him off.  Such an interesting concept.

The drama is certainly very nice to look at too.  And from what we’re seeing from the trailers, I think I’m going to love the mix of action, drama, and romance.  Another one I’m super excited for!

Another Exciting Trailer Released for W – Two Worlds

W Two Worlds Korean Drama - Lee Jong Suk

The latest trailer W – Two Worlds shows Lee Jong Suk repeatedly fighting for his life as Han Hyo Joo’s father keeps trying to kill him off. It’s tough being a webtoon character.

Han Hyo Joo’s feelings seem to be all over the place from being scared to amazed at seeing her comic hero in real life. He’s suspicious of her, but full of curiosity. We even get to see a kiss between the two! Now that’s teasing!

I really hope they can bring at least a little bit of that fantasy element into the actual drama. But so far I’m really liking everything I’m seeing.
